5:30 (even though I am not a fan of Family Guy I have Stewie on my phone alarm) Mommy, mommy mommy, mom mom mom. In my groggy state I choose the snooze function on the phone. 10 min later Stewie re-enters my room. If I did not need my hair washed, or a shower, or just the water to wake me up so I could get to work on time I would have told Stewie to wait another 10 min.
I have deep thoughts while in the shower. As I stood washing my hair I realized I hit snooze a lot in my life. See deep thoughts at 5:45 about my life. There are so many times I say I wanna do something then keep putting it off cause mostly I am lazy or have no money. And both are up to me. I need to get off my butt and force myself to do what I wanna because really....I will be so happy I have done it (which ever thing I would have wanted to do).
So...point being. My personal snooze button needs to not be pushed anymore. But I make no promises on my phone alarm not being snoozed.
Love that Stewie ring. Raising Gavin is not "hitting the snooze." Maybe you could invite my students to follow your blogs and ask them to comment. They have blogs of their own you could follow, too. Back to snooze; I tend to hit the snooze button on my life deadlines. I should be working on my writing every day - but I don't. Instead I watch Ellen or play with Gavin. Gavin doesn't let me snooze.
